Many of you may know of or have met our handsome, loving boy, Yoshi. Yesterday, Yoshi was diagnosed with bone cancer. Our options were to-

A) Amputate his leg in hopes of delaying the progression of the cancer, as well as taking away the pain in that leg where there is currently a tumor eating away at his bone. This route increases our chances of Yoshi being able to spend a few more YEARS enjoying life. OR

B) Make Yoshi as comfortable as possible with medications the next 2-6 MONTHS he has left.

We would like to proceed with the amputation in hopes of giving Yoshi more of the time he deserves, and doing everything we can afterwards to keep him as healthy as possible. Even with 3 legs he’ll still be a stud.

As you all may know, animal healthcare can be very costly (especially surgery), so we were hoping to get a little extra support from our friends and family if at all possible. Whatever anyone’s willing to give to support Yoshi’s cause will be greatly appreciated- whether that be donations to this gofundme, or just thoughts and prayers for his speedy recovery.

Yoshi truly is a special soul and he is the rock in our family. He keeps us grounded and grateful, fun and playful. Him and Wyatt share my entire heart. I can’t imagine life without him. Although I understand everyone’s time comes to an end, I wholeheartedly believe Yoshi has so much more life in him. These last couple of days have been weighing very heavy on our hearts, so we appreciate any love that is shared. We have faith and hope that Yoshi will kick this cancer’s ass.
