The Medical Crisis

While Yosef survived the explosion, the long-term physical impact of the trauma is now manifesting in a devastating way. His body has stopped producing the necessary calcium for his jaw, leading to rapid and severe degeneration of his gums and teeth. The damage is critical and painful. Without immediate intervention, the consequences will be irreversible.

Why We Need You

We are facing a bureaucratic wall.

• Insurance: His medical provider (Clalit) covers basic care but has refused to cover this specialized reconstruction, deeming it outside their standard basket of services.

• Aid Organizations: We have reached out to major organizations. While they do incredible work, their current funding mandates focus strictly on soldiers injured in the current ongoing war or specific life-saving procedures in the US. Because Yosef’s injury stems from a previous conflict, he falls through the cracks of their criteria.
