Help Yoomi (Stella) through Stage IV Cancer

Hi, my name is Angela. It is with heavy hearts my family and I ask for your support in raising funds for our dear aunt Yoomi (aka Stella).

She has been battling stage IV stomach cancer for the past year. It was last April when she went in for an endoscopy to check out the pain and indigestion she had been feeling in her stomach. It was then she found out she had a tumor. More tests were needed, and in the following weeks, she was diagnosed with stage IV stomach cancer. It was then she told my family of this devastating news.

Due to her diagnosis, my aunt had to quit her job unwillingly at the nail salon, which used to be her main source of living. Without any income and a year of going off of her savings, she is in desperate need of help. She is no longer able to sustain her rent, food, utilities, and medical expenses on her own.

Yoomi is a diligent and hardworking person, and it saddens us as her family to see her suffer financially as if battling this terrible cancer is not enough. Yoomi lost her husband at age 32 due to a car accident and has one older sister that resides here in the United States, while the rest of her extended family lives in South Korea. My aunt is not the type to ask anything of anybody; she is always used to being able to be on her own and support herself. So we are reaching out on her behalf and ask for your support to ease the financial burden that she is undergoing while she fights this cancer.

All the funds will go directly towards her treatment, lodging, and other critical needs related to her health.
