My wife of 39 years and mother of 4 children, Yong Suk, was fine a week ago. Last saturday she begin to feel more anxious and agitated, we thought we got 'bad' generic meds for her anxiety as she had a new refill. Last Sunday, she had a near complete psychiatric 'crash'. She was taken to the ER and the Doctor there recognized it as a medical issue, not a mental health one. A CT Scan showed she has a mass in her brain 3cms by 8 cms. She was then life flighted to a regional trauma center about 20 miles away. Yesterday she had a biopsy that shows it is cancer, and her radiation and chemo is to begin on Monday.
I know that our health insurance will cover nearly all the med expenses, but I also know that there will be other expenses, like the daily travel, for a month, 20 miles one way, for her treatments. I am a disabled Army retiree, and receiving social security, a fixed income not flexible enough to provide for all of this. ANYTHING you could contribute would greatly help my wife and our family. thank you
