Hello, my name is Yomna Al-Nairab, I am a 20 year old girl from Gaza and I need your help to complete my education at University due to the difficult financial circumstances as a result of the war. My dream has always been to study my passion of graphic design at university. I was accepted onto the course, but this offer came just before an escalation which forced my displacement and my university was forced to move teaching online after it was bombed by occupation forces.

I was supposed to start in the first semester of 2023 but due to the situation we were late. Registration began late for returning to study online due to the bombing of my university Al Aqsa University in Gaza City.

I have loved drawing and practical specialization since childhood. I hoped to be in this specialization, but my dream stopped because of the war and now learning has become e-learning, but I do not have a laptop to facilitate this. I currently have to borrow my sister's laptop but this isn't an option very often as she is also studying online University.

A laptop is the only way that I can access this course so it is for this reason that I appeal to your generosity to help me afford funds for a laptop or phone so that I can study this course of my dreams. Below you can see some of my artwork and my acceptance letter to University. (Please note the letters have been translated and it may not be a perfect translation).

Unfortunately everything from water to medical supplies in Gaza now sells an extortionate rate due to the blockade from the occupation forces. Studying is made very difficult due to the lack of electricity or even lighting and the difficulty of accessing the internet. I also lost my house due to the occupations bombings and therefore need money to rebuild it. This also makes studying even more difficult.

I will be very grateful to you if you are able to donate to me so that I am able to study my dream subject. I spent years studying and practising for my graphic design course and with your help, I can complete my online university.
