Help Yolo fight for Gold at The World Games '22

Hi my name is Yolo (Yolandà Schmidt) and I am raising funds to get myself and my Trainer to The World Games 2022 . The World Games is an 11-day international multi-sport event organised with the support of the International Olympic Committee. Held every 4 years, The World Games 2022 will showcase an anticipated 3,600 elite athletes from over 100 countries who will compete for gold in 34 sports, including Muaythai. TWG is held in Birmingham, USA from July 7-17, 2022.

With that said, to have qualified to represent the country is prestigious, but it doesn't come without its challenges. This is a self-funded event and individual flights alone will cost $2500-$3000 each from Sydney to USA.

Working full-time as a high school teacher, and part time as a Muaythai instructor whilst training at an elite level, daily, leads to 4:30am starts and 9pm finishes. I am giving it 110% and in order to win Gold for my country. My friends have encouraged me to ask for YOUR help to assist in getting me to Birmingham, to follow my dream!

I will also need to take unpaid leave from work and have the necessary funds available to cover my living expense such as the flat rent and dog minding for my Fur-Baby while I am chasing the Gold medal for Australia.

While Muaythai is an Olympic recognised sport there is no government funding available to assist us on this endeavour.

We would like to finalise flights by June 2022 to avoid price Increases and that give us a fundraising deadline.
