Two years ago in April 2024, I was involved in a school bus accident that resulted in my being on Workman's Compensation unable to work to this day. During this time, I have had to endure a lot of medical issues as result of my issues, with the greatest being learning how to manage various pain through physical therapy, as I will be living with pain for the remainder of my life. What I wasn't expecting was the loss of my home of 14 years due to inconsistencies in receipt of pay by mail due to direct deposit not being made available to inactive employees. This has left me struggling to pay rent in a studio apartment in an old renovated hotel and keep up with a storage unit at the same time while waiting for my case to finally settle. There is no telling when that might be, and I would like very much not to lose everything I still own in the process. All I'm asking is for some help with keeping my head above water until I can truly stand firm again, please. I am also open to real resources that can help, as well. Thank you!
