Hi everyone, it’s Marie, Yolanda Mosot’s daughter. We need your help as soon as possible to save our house. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, we were served a summons regarding potential foreclosure. We have 20 days to respond.

As many of you know, my mom was in a car accident while following my dad’s ambulance in 2019. He died two months later, and she became quadriplegic. She spent about four months at acute rehab before returning home. However, thanks to the pandemic and the slow progress of outpatient occupational and physical therapies, she has not been able to return to work. And I have not been able to find work for various reasons, least of all because taking care of Mom is practically a full-time job and I do not have help.

We opened a second GoFundMe page (https://gofund.me/f4ea3679) to help pay for monthly expenses, including groceries and bills for utilities. All donations given here, though, will go strictly towards keeping the house.

We realize it’s been a long time since we last asked for help, but in many ways, we need it now more than ever. We have exhausted our savings and need enough money to keep us in the home we’ve lived in for the past 30 years.

We know everyone is facing hard times right now, but we also know from 2019 how every little bit helps. Please remember how vulnerable elderly and disabled people are, not just physically but financially. We’ve refrained from asking for help for as long as we can, but I’m afraid we’ll be facing homelessness and bankruptcy soon.
