Help Yolanda Manning's Family Stay by Her Side
Donation protected
Our mother, Yolanda Manning, has been hospitalized in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, since July 18, 2024, battling bilateral pneumonia and an infection. Since being hospitalized, she has undergone an exploratory procedure and developed a pulmonary embolism. She is currently getting support breathing with the use of a bipap machine. As her time in the hospital and medical needs increase, she is trying hard to maintain her spirits. It is uncertain how much longer she will be hospitalized and she misses home.
Our dad, Lindsey, has remained at her bedside since she was admitted. He has had to take time away from his work and rent a motel room in order to be her constant companion. Her daughters Sarah and Morning Song have also traveled to be near to her and provide moral support to both her and our dad.
We are humbly asking for your support to allow our dad to continue to be with our mom. Once she is released, they’ll have to travel 1300 miles to get back home to Duck Valley Indian Reservation. Your support will not only help him maintain his motel room and cover meals, but will also ease the stress in an already stressful situation.
Thank you.
Lynn
(Yolanda’s eldest daughter)
