Help Yolanda Lopez Rebuild After Flood
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kimbrely. I am Dora Lopez's childhood friend of over 30 years. Dora’s mother, Yolanda Lopez, lost her home Friday, July 4, 2025, in the flood. In San Angelo, Texas, she was rescued along with her grandsons and great-grandson from the deep water levels. She was spared life but lost everything she owned. She has lived in her home for over 30 years. It will take time, hard work, and lots of labor to demolish her home and rebuild it. Water levels reached near the roof. With water damage, mold, and toxins from the water, nothing was able to be saved.
Please give what your hearts guide you to give. And if you can't donate, please pray for the Lopez family in this tragic time. This experience has left Yolanda and her grandsons traumatized. With the support of our community, we have managed to get her a temporary place in a hotel. We are on several waitlists for elderly apartment living and low-income housing because she is on disability and has limited income. With funds raised, we will be able to get her the things she needs: clothing, household items, groceries, rent, and anything else she may need. Anything left over will go towards building her home back. Thank you for your love and support. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are blessed to have such an amazing community. God bless you all.
