Hi everyone,

My sweet boy, Yokai, has unfortunately developed a urinary blockage. The estimate for his stay at a clinic, and treatment, is 6k and I was not able to opt in a payment plan.

Yesterday, he stopped moving, was hiding, and not eating. I knew something was wrong because it was very unlike him to do that. I took him to the vet and they confirmed he would need to be hospitalized for 48h with a catheter to make sure he urinates properly before coming home.

Urinary blockages may be fatal, so if he does not go through the procedure he may die. Above all, it is also painful. Yokai is only 2 years old and to even think of having to put him down so young is incredibly devastating. I love my cat dearly, and with me still being enrolled in classes, I have been struggling mentally and financially to take care of this unexpected emergency.
