Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

I am starting this GoFundMe for my close relative and friend, Yogendra Prakash Thapa—a loving father and a remarkable human being—whose family is now facing an unimaginable tragedy.

On January 18, 2025, Yogendra Prakash Thapa and his family were involved in a devastating bike accident in Lahan, Nepal, when a bus struck them. Initially, they were treated at Lahan Hospital, but due to the severity of their injuries, they were airlifted to Kathmandu for advanced medical care.

Tragically, Yogendra Prakash Thapa passed away during treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu. His wife, Sudha Thapa, sustained severe fractures in her leg and hand, and their young daughter, Shaileja Thapa, remains in critical condition, fighting for her life in the ICU.

This fundraiser aims to support the Thapa family by covering the escalating medical expenses for Shaileja’s ongoing ICU care and Sudha’s treatments as she works toward recovery. Losing Yogendra has left a profound emotional and financial void in their lives, and we humbly ask for your support during this heart-wrenching time.
