Help Yoda Walk Again: Fund His Surgery

We adopted Yoda in 2018 through a third-party rescue foundation. Yoda had been rescued from a home where he was neglected, and his tongue had been cut in half after they let him chew on razor blades. Yoda was placed in a foster home after a foundation paid for surgery to repair his mouth. While in foster care, they tied his leash to the bumper of a truck and dragged him for two blocks. This dislocated both of his knees and tore his left ACL. The
foundation assisted in placing Yoda with us after that.
We are asking you to help us fund surgery for Yoda to repair ligament tears in his right rear leg. His right rear ligaments were compromised when he was drug behind the truck and have finally torn. Without surgery, he will likely suffer from lameness and early-onset arthritis. We fear that he would have to live his senior years in pain and unable to be as active as he wants to be.
Yoda loves to sunbathe, play in the yard, and play fetch. Yoda can only live his best life if he receives the surgery he needs to repair his legs and follow-up treatment to make sure that he heals properly, including medication for pain
management post-operatively.
We are hopeful that you will consider donating to cover Yoda’s surgery and give him the happy, active senior years he deserves
