A few days ago, my brother and sister-in-law's cat Yoda started displaying symptoms of discomfort. Instead of being his playful self and wrestling with Sage, his cat cousin, he became distant and began to hide. Concerned, my brother took him to the vet, where we learned that Yoda has Feline idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) and bladder stones. The vet explained that Yoda would need to be hospitalized for three days and undergo life-saving surgery to remove the stones. While the cost was reduced as much as possible, it is still a significant amount for our family. My brother even had to miss work to make sure Yoda got the care he needed, which has made things even more difficult financially. The money raised will go directly toward Yoda's life-saving surgery, hospital stay, and the follow-up care he needs to recover. We are doing everything we can to help him, but we can't do it alone. We do not want to lose Yoda, as everyone, including Sage, would be heartbroken. Any support you can give would mean the world to our family and help us give Yoda the care he needs to get back to his playful, loving self.
