Help Give Yoda a Second Chance

Meet Yoda, a 10-month-old bulldog who almost lost his life for something that is completely manageable. Yoda was scheduled to be euthanized due to ongoing house accidents related to digestive sensitivities — not because of aggression or poor temperament, but because his needs required more care than he was given.

I work at the veterinary clinic where Yoda was brought in, and I couldn’t let his story end there. I stepped in to give him the chance he deserves.

Yoda has a sensitive stomach and allergies, meaning he requires a specialized diet and consistency to thrive. He also needs to be neutered to support his long-term health and prepare him for a successful future in a new home.

Yoda also has a mild spinal concern, identified as a small space in his spine. At this time, it is not causing him any pain or mobility issues, and there is no indication that it will worsen. This is something we are simply being proactive and transparent about while ensuring he receives proper care and monitoring.

This fundraiser will help cover:

• Veterinary care and neutering

• His over $3000 exploratory surgery

• Specialized diet and digestive support

• Ongoing monitoring of his spinal health

• Giving Yoda the best possible start before placement in a forever home

Update on Yoda Yoda was neutered today and is recovering well. Thanks to your donations, we were able to do X-rays, which unfortunately revealed foreign material in his stomach that appears to be metal springs. Because of this, Yoda will need exploratory surgery to safely remove the material. This surgery could be close to $4000 at most. This step is necessary and time-sensitive.
