Help Yoda Fight Cancer Again!
Donation protected
Hi everyone — it’s Yoda’s mom, Carrissa.
I wish I didn’t have to be writing this again, but here we are. We need help.
This past year has been one of the hardest of our lives. We unexpectedly lost Yoda's grandpa. Yoda’s dad got very sick. And just recently, I was unexpectedly laid off. It’s been one blow after another.
Through it all, our sweet Yoda has been fighting for his life.
He was diagnosed with lymphoma on 3/13/2024 — a day that completely shattered us. Since then, he’s gone through two full rounds of chemo. First CHOP, which got him into remission. Then, when the cancer returned, we moved to Tanovea — and again, he went into remission.
He’s done everything we could ever ask of him. He’s powered through the tough days. And somehow, he’s stayed the same Yoda we know and adore.
But the cancer keeps coming back. And now, it’s back again. So we’re starting treatment — again.
We’re doing everything we can to give him the best possible chance — but we can’t do it without support.
So far, we’ve spent about $35,000 on Yoda’s care. As we begin this next round of treatment, we’ve set a new goal of $20,000 to help cover the road ahead. With me now unexpectedly out of work, the financial strain feels heavier than ever — and honestly, we’re overwhelmed.
We really, truly can’t lose him.
If you’re able to donate, share, or just send some love our way — thank you. And if you'd prefer to contribute directly to the hospital, you can call The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center at six one four – two nine two – three five five one. Just let them know you'd like to make a payment on Yoda Sheets' account — they’ll connect you to the front desk, and all they’ll need is your name to add a note to his file.
Yoda still has so much life left in him. He’s still cuddling up with us like he knows we need him just as much as he needs us.
He’s our heart. We’re not giving up.
And we truly hope you won’t either.
FLUFF CANCER and thank you — for everything.
