On January 23rd my sister Yoana went into the hospital for what she thought was the flu, by Sunday Jan 26th Yoana was told she needed to be intubated to properly get oxygen to her lungs because the doctors think she has pneumonia. It’s been two weeks today since her intubation (Feb 9th) and the doctors cannot figure out what is wrong with our beautiful Yoana. Every test they run has come back negative but her health keeps declining. Yoana needed to have a biopsy on her lungs done but due to her critical condition they cannot proceed with the surgery until she is not relying on the oxygen machine as much or she will not make it out of the operating room. Yoana will be transferred to a different hospital that can better care for her using an ECMO machine. Yoana has two beautiful children that are not 100% aware of this situation. They know mommy is sick but they don’t know how bad her condition is. Her daughter Eli is 16 and understands some of this but her son Logan who is 9 is completely left in the dark. We are asking that you please help us by praying/sharing or donating anything you can to help support her kids and help keep her apartment during the recovery we are praying for. All the money will help as there is no source of income for them at this moment. This will help alleviate some of the stress she will be facing apart from her health.

El 23 de enero, mi hermana Yoana fue al hospital por lo que ella pensó que era gripe, y el domingo 26 de enero le dijeron a Yoana que debía ser intubada para llevar oxígeno a sus pulmones porque los médicos creen que tiene neumonía. Han pasado dos semanas desde su intubación (9 de febrero) y los médicos no pueden descubrir qué le pasa a nuestra bella Yoana. Cada prueba que realizan ha resultado negativa, pero su salud sigue disminuyendo. Yoana necesitaba hacerse una biopsia en los pulmones, pero debido a su condición crítica, no pueden continuar con la cirugía hasta que no dependa tanto de la máquina de oxígeno o no saldra de la sala de operaciones. Yoana será transferida a un hospital diferente que puede cuidarla mejor usando una máquina ECMO. Yoana tiene dos hermosos hijos que no son 100% conscientes de esta situación. Saben que mamá está enferma, pero no saben qué tan grave es su condición. Su hija Eli tiene 16 años y entiende algo de esto, pero su hijo Logan, que tiene 9 años, queda completamente en la oscuridad. Le pedimos que por favor nos ayude orando / compartiendo o donando lo que pueda para ayudar a mantener a sus hijos y ayudar a mantener su departamento durante la recuperación por la que estamos orando. Todo el dinero ayudará, ya que no hay una fuente de ingresos para ellos en este momento. Esto ayudará a aliviar parte del estrés que enfrentará, aparte de su salud.
