Help Yi-seul & Leon Move

My name is Yi-seul. I'm 18 years old and currently finishing out my fifth year of high school at the same time as attending college and working. My boyfriend Leon and I are trying to get an apartment together to gain independence from our families. While we're trying our best to cover all of the fees required to achieve our goal on our own, the timeframe we're working with has us running out of options. Leon is coming to Minnesota from Florida and as you might expect, the cost of getting him up here is pretty significant. We also have three pets to care for: a snake and two leopard geckos. Our scaly sons mean the world to us and if we can raise money for our cause, our boys' health and safety will be secured along with our own.

I don't like groveling. If you were to ask anyone who knows me, you'd find out pretty quickly that I'm a very proud, stubborn person. But the apartment we've been approved for means a lot more than housing to me. It means independence. It means a future I get to build with the man I love. It means neither of us will have to live under someone else's thumb anymore. Above all else, this apartment holds the promise that we'll have one another. The very idea that soon we'll wake up next to each other is the driving force keeping me going. We're excited to venture out into the world as independent adults. It's a challenge that we're ready to face head-on and side by side, no matter the storms that come our way.

With all of that in mind, I shed my aforementioned pride and humbly ask for your help in this journey. The money we're looking to raise will go directly towards paying for the gas needed for Leon to drive cross-country to reach Minnesota, paying for our security deposits, buying necessary items for our home such as silverware/cookware/dishes, providing veterinary care for our reptiles, and savings in case of any hiccups along the way. Leon and I work minimum wage jobs in our respective states and all we have is already being set aside to reach the light at the end of this tunnel.
