About Our Team

We are the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team YISE #11308, a dedicated robotics team located in Parker, Colorado. This year marks our 9th season competing in the FTC, an exciting program where teams from across the country design and build robots to compete against one another.

Our Achievements

Last season, we reached the state finals and earned the prestigious Think Award, which recognizes the team whose portfolio best captures the journey and experiences throughout the season.

Why We Need Your Support

As a community-based team, we are responsible for all of our own fundraising. The money we raise, along with grants, is essential for us to afford building and improving our robots each season.

How Funding Will Be Used

This year, our goal is to replace some of our older components, including motors and wheels, and purchase new filament for our 3D printers. Our team relies heavily on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create custom parts, and we plan to utilize vision modeling to help our robots identify and pick up objects during competitions.

Skills We Gain

Through our participation in FTC, we are constantly learning valuable engineering and design skills, as well as JAVA programming, all of which will benefit us in future careers.
