For those who know Yianni, you know he's a man out for your heart. He's a friend to all who is hilarious and full of rambunctious energy. In short, he's a "lovable teddybear". 

 Those that know him have felt his unselfish giving. When he was on top there was no limit to the things he would do to help his friends.  He has bought friends cars and gave down payments for houses, paid rents, bought food and helped with medical expenses. His generosity was endless.


Unfortunately he has been dealt a tough hand in life.  As a severely obese man, he suffers from all things that men of his size suffers from - trouble breathing, walking, sleep apnea, etc. He seemed to be struggling more than usual with his breathing these past few months, and has barely been able to leave his house because his weight causes him so much pain in his hips and knees.


Our dear friend currently also suffers from congestive heart failure as well as diabetes and a hand full of other ailments.  He has struggled with his weight over the years but currently feels helpless in his own skin to do anything about it.  His only solution at this point is to go through with gastric bypass weight loss surgery.  Yianni is beyond motivated to make this change but he needs our love an support to make it happen.  Lets help him to LIVE today so we can spend time with him NOW instead of wishing we could have done something to help when he’s gone.  


Yianni has maxed out all of his credit card and savings options on medical expenses, and is in serious need of some financial help to pay for his surgery. He would never ask for a hand out and would rather die than have to depend on others so his friends want to step in and assist him through this process without financial worry through this GoFundMe.  If he won’t ask we will force him to take it if we have to, to save his life!

Hi! Kelly here, the GFM team asked me to clarify some things before Yianni will be able to get his funds.  At his request I will be withdrawing the funds in my name and having them deposited into my savings account, once cleared will pull out the cash and hand it over to him for his surgery.  Yianni is my long time family friend and the God father of both my boys so we trust each other fully.  Also his surgery date is set for July 2nd so everyone keep him in your prayers!
