Help Yessenia Rebuild After Armed Robbery

Hello, Yessenia is a true women of GOD, a Catholic youth ministry Leader/Catechist, a beloved mother and loving wife and a small business owner (Los Tamales De La Tia) in Little Village. Who has just become a victim of an armed robbery this morning of October 17th, 2024. While Yessenia and her husband were in the process of entering their business around 3 am, 5 armed men pulled over and approached and threatened them to hand over all their money and Forced entry into the business and stole from the registers as well. The traumatic moment did not end there, as the gunmen forced them to get inside their vehicles and stop by ATM around the town and withdraw even more money.

On behalf of those who serve as catechists at Cristo Rey Parish here in Little Village, we ask you to please donate whatever you can to this cause. Yessenia has been helping our church with giving her time and energy to help build a better future for the youth, helping them discover the truest love there is, from our Lord Jesus Christ. Then we also ask to pray for our city, our town here, little village and pray for Yessenia and her family as they are dealing with the after math of this tragic event. Hola, Yessenia es una verdadera mujer de DIOS, líder del ministerio juvenil católico/catequista, una amada madre y esposa amorosa y propietaria de una pequeña empresa (Los Tamales De La Tia) en La Villita. Quien acaba de convertirse en víctima de un robo a mano armada esta mañana del 17 de octubre de 2024. Mientras Yessenia y su esposo estaban en el proceso de ingresar a su negocio alrededor de las 3 am, 5 hombres armados se detuvieron y se acercaron y los amenazaron con entregar todo su dinero y entraron a la fuerza al negocio y también robaron de las cajas registradoras. El momento traumático no terminó allí, ya que los pistoleros los obligaron a subir a sus vehículos y pasar por los cajeros automáticos de la ciudad y retirar aún más dinero.

En nombre de quienes sirven como catequistas en la Parroquia Cristo Rey aqui en La Villita, le pedimos que done lo que pueda para esta causa. Yessenia ha estado ayudando a nuestra iglesia al dar su tiempo y energía para ayudar a construir un futuro mejor para los jóvenes, ayudándolos a descubrir el amor más verdadero que existe, de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. También pedimos que oren por nuestra ciudad, nuestro pueblo, y oren por Yessenia y su familia mientras enfrentan las consecuencias de este trágico evento.
