Help Yesenia Fulfill Her Calling to Care for Seniors

Hi, my name is Yesenia Portorreal, and I’m humbly asking for your support as I navigate one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I believe with all my heart that God called me to create a home where seniors could receive the love and care they deserve. With 27 years of experience as a certified nurse assistant, I know firsthand the difference compassionate care can make.

In obedience to what I felt was God’s plan, I stepped out in faith and purchased a property in Inverness, Florida, to establish a Residential Home — a small, family-style assisted living home. I invested everything I had to prepare this house for those who would one day call it home.

But the journey has not been easy.

For the past 14 months, unexpected challenges with zoning and licensing have left the house empty. I’ve done everything I can to hold on, covering the mortgage, utilities, and maintenance on my own. I’ve prayed, worked, and believed — but now, I’m at a point where I can no longer carry this burden alone.

I’ll be honest. The weight of these struggles has made me question if I truly heard God’s voice. But even in my doubt, I’m holding on to faith. I still believe this mission is greater than me, and I’m trusting that God will make a way.

That’s why I’m asking for your help.
