Help Yeonwoo Kim fight leukaemia

Hi everyone! I’m Yeonwoo Kim, a 15 year old student from Australia. As some of you may know, I am currently undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) which in simple terms is blood cancer.

A little behind story about me, I started dancing when I was 4 and it’s basically been my life ever since. I was offered a place in level 6 at The Australian Ballet School for 2020, however won’t be able to attend due to the treatments.

Unfortunately since around August this year, I started to get agonising pain in both my hips, restricting me to lift them past 45 degrees. This stopped me from participating in many dance classes and even missing performances. Thinking it was an injury, I visited physiotherapists, chiropractors, the sports medicine, got mri scans and dry needles but nothing seemed to make this pain go away, until the sports medicine doctor requested that I simply got a blood test. On the 10th of October, after coming home from the blood test, I received a phone call to immediately drive to the hospital.

I am so fortunate to have access to Australian healthcare, however this life changing event has caused my mum to stop working to care for me through this gruelling period of time. It also has many supplementary costs, including numerous medications, wigs, physio & sports medicine for 2 years, transport from in and out of hospital and items I will need along the way.

Any help you can give, no matter how small, will be a huge help to my family and I, and will be greatly appreciated. I listed my mum, Eun Park as my beneficiary.
