Help Yenicer Rebuild After Fire Loss

En la madrugada del 11 de mayo, ocurrió una tragedia que ha destrozado a nuestra familia. Mientras mi prima Yenicer Fernandez y su familia dormían, su apartamento se incendió por completo. Gracias a Dios, un vecino vio las llamas a tiempo y logró despertarlos. Eso les salvó la vida. Pero lo perdieron todo.

Salieron con lo que tenían puesto. No quedó ni ropa, ni muebles, ni documentos — ni siquiera una foto, un recuerdo… nada. Solo el dolor, la angustia y la incertidumbre de cómo volver a empezar.

Es una situación devastadora y muy triste. Estamos haciendo lo posible por ayudar, pero necesitamos más apoyo. Cualquier donación, por mínima que sea, será una bendición para Yenicer y su familia. Por favor, ayúdanos a darles un poco de esperanza en medio de tanto dolor.

In the early hours of May 11th, a tragedy struck our family. While my cousin Yenicer Fernandez and her loved ones were peacefully sleeping, their home was engulfed in flames. By the grace of God, a neighbor saw the fire just in time and was able to wake them up saving their lives. But everything else was lost.

They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. No furniture, no clothes, no documents not even a single photo or memory left untouched by the fire. They’re left with nothing but the pain, the shock, and the uncertainty of how to start over.

It’s hard to put into words how heartbreaking this is. We’re doing what we can to help, but they need so much more. Any donation, no matter how small, would be a blessing. Please, from the bottom of our hearts, help us help Yenicer and her family find hope again.
