On April 20th, 2025, Yendi Oates—an incredible mother, gifted vocalist, and beloved member of the South Florida music community—was involved in a serious car accident that left her with a fractured lower spine and a broken ankle. She was hospitalized for two days and is now at home beginning a long and difficult recovery.

Yendi is not just an extraordinary performer—she’s a devoted single mom to her 5-year-old son, Aiden, and someone who pours every ounce of her energy into her family and her music. Known as one of the most sought-after cover band vocalists in South Florida, Yendi has touched countless lives through her talent and spirit.

Right now, she’s facing significant challenges. Unable to work due to her injuries, Yendi is dealing with mounting medical bills, the loss of her vehicle, and daily home expenses—all while trying to heal and continue caring for her son.
