Help Yazan and his family survive genocide

Donation protected
Who Are We?
My name is Scott, I’m a musician and father from South Wales and I’m taking the steps to help a person living and surviving genocide in Gaza.

That person is Yazan al-Waheidi, a talented 25 year old Palestinian man trapped in the midst of Gaza’s unimaginable suffering.

Two year ago, Yazan was full of life—an engineering graduate, the top of his class, an active member of a Dabke dance band, and a young man full of dreams. He balanced his love for art, volunteering, and hard work with ambition and dedication. He worked as an engineer, accountant, activist, and community trainer. Every day, he built toward a future that now no longer exists.

The bombs took more than buildings. They destroyed Yazan’s future, his job, his stability, and the very world he fought to build. He lost everything—except his will to live and to help others. Now he spends his time as a psychological supporter for Gaza’s children, helping to navigate them through their trauma by dancing and laughing with them amongst the rubble and bombs.

Targets
We have set the target of this fundraiser as £10.000. This amount is necessary to help Yazan and his family survive life in the most dangerous place on earth. It is needed to secure food and necessities like winter clothes, medication, hygiene products etc. It will also help support Yazan’s volunteer work with traumatized children. I will be donating funds raised directly from my bank account to Yazan.

Please know that even small donations matter, and because of the cruel 50% withdrawal fees, we must do more, give more, share more—to ensure something actually reaches the hands of those who need it.

Even if you're unable to give, please use your voice and share on socials to help amplify Yazan’s story, as well as other citizens of Gaza and their campaigns. If you’re feeling utterly useless at how to help, this is a direct link to you and a Palestinian living through this horror. Let the world know what’s happening, let people know human lives are being lost quietly, not just to bombs, but to bureaucracy, injustice, and starvation.

A Message From Yazan
"A man dies when others forget him, work hard to immortalize your memory and live forever."

Even if I die, this quote has been the motivation for me to give my all in this war.
I'm Yazan, a 25-year-old engineering graduate, I had big dreams and aspirations.

I was a member of a Dabke band, enjoyed various hobbies, and worked hard to make a living.

But the war changed everything. I lost my job, my home, and my sense of security.
Despite the odds, I refused to give up. I returned as a volunteer, an activist, and a
psychosocial support trainer, dedicating my time to bringing joy and hope to children in my community.

But the struggle is real, and now I'm facing a new challenge: survival.

Let's do it together.
Make me immortal inside them. Your contribution can help amplify my story and bring hope to those who need it most, and will give me the hope and encouragement I need to keep going
