Help Us Bring Yaya Home!

On December 10th, 2025, Yajaira, or as most of us know her, Yaya, was detained by ICE while attempting to go to the gym with her daughter. Upon detaining Yaya, her minor child was questioned without an adult present and was left ALONE to wait for a ride while ICE took Yaya. Their reason for taking her is based on charges she possessed over 2 years ago and has since turned her life around for the better. Upon arriving at the facility in which she is being held, it was shared that the conditions in which they are living are horrendous. They're cold. They're hungry. They're not receiving proper medical attention and/or mental health care. Yajaira has been a resident of the United States for over 20 years and now is looking at potentially losing that residency based on MISTAKES that were made, again over 2 years ago, they were corrected, and the consequences were carried out to completion. Yajaira works for a company which she adores, but now that employment is also in jeopardy. I have personally witnessed the personality and characteristics of this young woman, and she has beyond a shadow of doubt turned her life around. She is quick to help those in need, especially those she keeps close to her. She is a loyal mother, daughter, sister, and friend! If you've ever met Yaya, then you probably ended up with a smile on your face! Her quirky sense of humor and bubbly personality is sure to bring out a laugh or two from just about anyone she encounters! Yajaira has helped out so many people in her lifetime, now it is OUR time to help her out!

I know it's the holiday season and everybody is scraping by, but no one deserves to spend the holidays in the conditions she is currently living under.
