Help Yasmina further her medical education.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Yasmina Jahić and I am a junior at the Bayless High School and the South Tech High School, where I study Pharmaceutical science.
I have also been a student of a medical educational program called HOSA,
(Health Occupations Students of America). This year my team and I put together a project on Anesthesiology and all the qualifications needed
Since 1978 HOSA has existed and is serving as a national organization for medical and healthcare students. It provides training beyond the basic technical skills needed for entry into the medical healthcare field. Every year, HOSA members attend local and state competitions as well as national conferences.
I won twice during the state competitions and got a third place during my freshmen year. Due to the COVID regulations, the nationwide competitions did not take place in Nashville TN in 2020/21.
I just recently won the state competitions again with the current project and will be heading to Rolla, Missouri on 3.28.22 to compete for the Nationals, and before I can hopefully travel to Orlando, Florida later this year to showcase my project to the nation.
Many HOSA chapters arrange fundraising events each year to ensure that members will not have to cover all of their expenses themselves. With all the deadlines being so close together, we need all the help we can get and in order to cover the traveling and other expenses.
Any donations and contributions toward this great learning cause will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all !!!
