Hello kind friend, and thank you for being here. My name is Melissa, and I live in Philadelphia. For nearly two years, I’ve been organizing emergency aid campaigns for families in Gaza. All donations are sent safely to the family, and receipts are always available. 

 This campaign is for my dear friend Yasmena, a compassionate young woman from Gaza who has been doing everything she can to help her family survive during this devastating war.

Her family includes 9 loved ones: 

• Father – Khader: suffering from chronic illness and requires ongoing medical care.

• Mother – Jihan: living with diabetes and unable to access needed medication.

• Older brother – Tarek 

• Middle brother – Ahmad 

• Younger brother – Bassam 

• Older sister – Aya 

• Middle sister – Fatima 

• Younger sister – Yasmena (the one you are helping) 

• Their grandmother, also in fragile health.

Since the destruction reached their home, life has become unimaginably difficult. The family is living day-to-day with almost no access to basic necessities. Food is scarce, clean water is limited, and medicine has become nearly impossible to find. Every single day is a struggle to stay alive. 

Despite the exhaustion and fear, Yasmena still carries hope. She dreams of continuing her education someday, but for now, survival is all that matters keeping her family warm, fed, and safe.
