Over the last 7 months I have been lucky enough to become close friends with Yasmeen (28) and Baher (32) who live in Gaza with their 4 children - triplets Suhair, Naif and Maryam who are 18 months, and Khaled who is just 2 months old. I talk to them every single day.

Now that the Rafah Crossing has opened I am raising funds to help them evacuate Gaza to Egypt as quickly as possible. They will go live with Baher's father who is suffering from cancer. I have never seen people so kind and strong, they have become family to me, and I hope you will help provide these 6 beautiful people with a bright future, one of safety, opportunity and dignity. It costs $2500 per minor and $5000 per adult to travel over the Rafah Crossing. I am looking to raise $20,000 for them to evacuate ASAP.

My name is Baher, a father of three triplets — Naif, Suhair, and Maryam — and our youngest baby, Khaled.

My triplets were born during the war and spent their early days in displacement camps in southern Gaza, where there was no clean water, no electricity, and no sense of safety.

When the war ended, we returned to northern Gaza, only to find our home completely destroyed. We tried to rebuild our lives, but what followed was even harder.

The war may have ended, but the killing never stopped. The identity of the killer has changed, yet chaos and lawlessness now fill our streets. Every day, innocent people die for no reason — and I live in constant fear for my children’s lives.

All we want is a safe place to live, where my children can grow up without fear, where they can dream instead of hiding.
