Help Tubail’s Family Start new:A Journey from Gaza

Hello, kind hearts. My name is Yasin, a 20-year-old software engineering student currently studying in Turkey. I'm in my second year, dreaming of graduating with an engineering degree and pursuing a major in cybersecurity. But today, I come before you, not as a student with dreams of technology and security, but as an elder brother and a son, reaching out for a glimmer of hope for my family back in Gaza.
My family, consisting of my parents, my 17-year-old brother Yousef, my 13-year-old sister Sewar, and my two little sisters Sara, 6, and Sidra, 4, are living a reality far removed from any semblance of normalcy. Since the onset of the war, our lives have been turned upside down, with our home and all our belongings lost to an Israeli bombing. What was once a place filled with dreams and aspirations is now rubble, forcing my family to live in a tent, constantly moving from north to south in search of safety.
Yousef, who once dreamed of studying electrical engineering abroad, now faces the harsh reality that his dreams may remain just that—dreams. The war has not only destroyed physical buildings but the futures of many young minds like his, making it impossible to even graduate high school. Sewar, my spirited sister, a black belt in karate and a champion many times over, finds her achievements overshadowed by the trauma of war. Sara was just beginning her educational journey in the first grade, and Sidra has yet to experience the joys of childhood education and play.
These are not just stories of loss and despair but of resilience and unfulfilled potential. Each member of my family, like every individual, has dreams, aspirations, and the right to pursue them, just as anyone else in the world does.
Living in Turkey, I am striving to continue my education despite financial hurdles, and the distance from my family weighs heavily on me. The uncertainty of their wellbeing, especially during times when communication ceases for over a month, is a constant source of anxiety and fear.
Today, I'm turning to you, the global community, for support. We've been given a chance for a new beginning, an opportunity for my family to leave Gaza and start afresh. However, this chance comes with a cost - $9,000 for each person to cross the borders into Egypt and away from the life of constant upheaval they currently endure.
Your support can change the course of my family's life. It can reignite the dimmed dreams of a young engineer, a karate champion, and two little girls just yearning for normalcy. By sharing our story and contributing to our campaign, you're not just offering financial assistance; you're providing hope, a chance to rebuild, and the invaluable gift of a future.
I appreciate your time in reading our story. Sharing it with others amplifies our voice and increases our chance of turning this dream into reality. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for any support you can offer. Together, we can help my family, and many others like us, be reborn into a life where dreams are attainable, and safety is not just a fleeting moment but a permanent state.
With gratitude and hope,
