Help Yaroslav and Hanna Start again in the USA

Hi, My name is Gabe Abinante. 5 years ago, a startup I worked with hired a group of Ukrainian developers to supplement our Software dev team. This year, when the war started, We reached out to our former colleagues to see what we could do to help. Long story short, I'm sponsoring one of them and his fiancee to come to the US via the Uniting for Ukraine effort (https://www.uscis.gov/ukraine). This money will go directly to them for the purposes of resettling in the US and helping replace possessions that they left behind.

Yaroslav and Hanna have fled from their home in Ukraine, passed through Kherson across the southern border, and escaped to Turkey. They've braved artillery fire, FSB agents, and seen some things they'd very much like to forget. We've done the necessary paperwork, and their travel authorization has been approved. Now they have an opportunity to come to the US and start anew. Unfortunately, they've left almost everything behind in Ukraine: their home, most of their belongings, and their entire social network.

They will stay with us as long as they need, but the wait time for Work authorization after being paroled into the USA is five months per USCIS. In the meantime, they could use funds for personal expenses, healthcare through MediCal, winter clothes, and money for personal autonomy.
