My name is Yamica, and I never imagined I would find myself in this position. After being out of work for several months, I used up all of my savings just trying to keep afloat. I am grateful to have found work again, but the bills have piled up faster than I can catch up. I am now facing overdue mortgage payments, utility bills, and some college expenses for my youngest daughter. To make matters worse, my phone is currently disconnected, making it even harder to manage.

Reaching out for help is one of the hardest things for me, and I don’t think I could feel any smaller. I am at my lowest point and am overwhelmed by the weight of these challenges. I am doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but I cannot do it alone. The funds raised will go directly toward covering my back mortgage, keeping the lights and heat on, some college expenses for my daughter, and reconnecting my phone so I can at least have a lifeline.
