My brother and best friend suffered a terrible motorcycle accident recently. Yakov sustained serious injuries to his right leg and was at high risk of losing his leg. The incredible team of doctors and staff at UCLA worked diligently to save his leg with a full hip and knee replacement surgery. Unfortunately, he has a long road to recovery with many months of physical therapy and at least 2-3 medical procedures/surgeries. If you know Yakov you know what a kind and wonderful soul he is. We are asking our friends and colleagues to come together and help Yakov with what we expect very high medical expenses, as he currently does not have health insurance.  I will be withdrawing the funds into my bank account and cutting Yakov a check. These expenses will allow Yakov to pay for follow up medical surgeries and physical therapy, which is expected to be ongoing for 6-8 months.  We thank you in advance for your help and support.
