My name is Yair Sanchez, my family and I live in San Jose, California. At 17 years old doing this kind of thing is uncomfortable to me but I find it really necessary.  After going through a month of quarantine, an unexpected fire hit our house and we were forced to move out.  The fire really hurt us as we didn't know what was to come. It was our home and I've lived there for all 17 years of my life, the memories will forever only be in our minds. That's what really hurts the most.
And it's taken us over 6 months to find an apartment since another house was very unlikely because we're a low income family. This month the 5 of us were hit with positive results from covid-19 which hit my parents even more financially. The house has been fenced up for quite sometime, and unfortunately lots of our clothes for winter were in the garage.  Therefore it's considered unavailable, lost, or even stolen to those that have already attempted to break inside. I'm not the best at estimates, but I believe $5,000 will definitely help us with what's needed for an apartment. Such as beds, furniture, kitchen utensils, food, and clothes. As of right now I don't know another way to ask for help. The funds would be needed as soon as possible but of course anything helps. Thank you, God bless.
