Help Yahaira Peña win the Cancer Battle

In May of 2021, Yahaira was diagnosed with Stage 4, Parotid Cancer, a rare form of cancer of the salivary glands. This cancer is affecting the nerves in her face and head causing debilitating headaches, facial pains, inability to swallow and more.

The tumor was removed and she received the first round of radiation and chemotherapy treatment from June-Aug 2021. This has not been easy for Yahaira, and to make matters worse, the tumor has returned and the cancer has metastasized to the lungs and the pelvis.

All donations will be used to cover an immunotherapy drug called KEYTRUDA not covered by her insurance as her cancer does not meet the requirements for medical necessity although her oncologist worked really hard to get it approved but was unsuccessful.

Due to the impact of her illness and the side effects, Yahaira is weak, in need of round the clock care. We are unsure of how long it will take for Yahaira to win this battle, but we want to make sure that money is not an obstacle. We want Yahaira to focus on her recovery.
