Love & Support for Yady & Kai - Surfside Survivors

This GoFundMe page was created on behalf of Yadira Santos and her son Kai who were residents of the now collapsed Champlain Tower South. Kai is a student at Ruth K. Broad Elementary and this page has been set up by the parents of his classmates and friends. We are so grateful that Yady and Kai made it to safety before the building collapsed, but now they are faced with the long and challenging road of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

By creating this page, we not only hope to ease some of the financial burdens but to show continued support from their friends and community. Kai has been so brave, braver than any 8-year-old should ever have to be. Yady is so incredibly strong, and although she has never asked for our help, our collective mama and papa bear instincts have kicked in and we absolutely will not let her go through this alone.
