My name is Yaania Bell, and I’m a young filmmaker from Harlem, NY. I am set to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a film and television major this upcoming semester and have created this GoFundMe to fundraise money for tuition, room and board, books, school supplies, and film equipment for the academic year, 2020-2021. Due to Covid-19, my single mother and sole provider, has lost her multiple jobs and we are currently relying on unemployment. I had requested a gap year intending to use that time to apply to more scholarships for the next year, but unfortunately my request was denied. If you can, please donate and/or share to help me reach my goal. All donations are appreciated no matter their sum and will go directly to my higher education.
