Help XULO Repair 'La Fortunita'

Donation protected
Almost a month ago, our trusty 40-year-old dough divider/rounder, affectionately known as 'La Fortunita,' gave out on us right in the middle of production. This machine has been the backbone of XULO, helping us bring fresh, delicious tortillas to our community for years. The past few weeks have been a roller coaster as we scrambled to keep up with orders and find a solution. After a lot of research, second opinions, and costly diagnostics, we finally found a local mechanical repair shop willing and able to repair the main motor. Unfortunately, the work is expensive, and it’s not something we can cover on our own right now.

Rather than junking the machine and buying a new or used one, we’re choosing the sustainable path and working with what we’ve got. The funds raised will go directly toward repairing and reinstalling 'La Fortunita,' so we can pick up production and get XULO tortillas back in your favorite retailers. Your support will help us continue our mission of bringing quality, handmade tortillas to your tables and supporting our local food community.

I’m so thankful to all of you for your support and positivity. Hearing how important our tortillas are to your weekly meals has given me so much perspective and motivation to keep going. If you’re able to donate or share our story, it would mean the world to us. Thank you for being part of the XULO family!
