Help Xochitl Overcome Cancer and Financial Strain
Donation protected
Xochitl is a mother of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. A wife that lost not one, but two husbands in her lifetime. She struggled in life to support her family, sometimes even working two jobs to provide. Xochitl is a devout Christian and shows kindness and has given to many in their time of need, whether it be money, a ride, babysitting, or helping with simple life necessities. One never expects to be diagnosed with cancer, the most tragic news you and your loved ones can receive.
2024 began with Xóchitl experiencing back pain lasting months, with a misdiagnosis of a pinched nerve. Xóchitl continued working until the pain was so severe she was unable to walk on her own. In August, an emergency room visit revealed the devastating diagnosis of advanced Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer that develops in the bone marrow. This painful condition was slowly causing fractures in her spine, rendering her disabled and in constant suffering. Xochitl has since begun cancer treatments consisting of chemotherapy and blood transfusions. Due to the aggressive nature of this disease, treatments are constant and ongoing until a needed bone marrow transplantation can be performed.
With Xóchitl unable to work due to the nature of this cancer and fractured spine, she has been surviving off her savings account. Six months later, she is feeling the financial strain of piling medical bills and everyday expenses.
We are asking that you find it in your heart to help Xóchitl in her time of need. Any amount will help. No donation is too small or large.
Please keep Xochitl in your prayers and know that your support means everything.
With the help from the GoFundMe, she will be able to live her life again as it will allow her more time to be positive and focused on getting better without having to worry about rent and bills.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Keep the prayers coming.
Message from Xochitl: Live each day to its fullest.
