Ximena Magana is one of a kind. She is smart, driven, giving, always there to support others.
Ximena is a DACA recipient who has been taking courses at UH at her own pace since she has been paying everything herself. She had to take a 2 year break from school at one point because she was the sole provider for her family. Ximena has worked 2-3 jobs to make ends meet.
She is now only a few courses away from getting her degree. Some of her friends want to help her enroll in the courses and pay it all off to get that diploma. We are so proud of her. She volunteers on so many campaigns and serves on the Mayor's Hispanic Advisory board. Help us by donating what you can and by spreading the word. Thank you!
