Help Ximena Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant

Hi everyone,

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my niece/ goddaughter Ximena and her amazing parents Ricki and Gerardo who are facing an incredibly difficult time. My niece is in urgent need of a liver transplant and must travel out of state to receive care. Since she has been battling with a bad liver since birth and is now 6 months it is starting to affect other organs as well as her being on a feeding tube currently. While we’re grateful she has a chance at recovery, the process brings a lot of unexpected financial challenges.

Her parents will need to stay in another state for at least a week, and the cost of travel, lodging, food, and the loss of income during that time is overwhelming. Unfortunately, they simply can’t afford all of it on their own.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward covering:

• Hotel or housing costs near the hospital

• Travel expenses

• Meals and basic needs during the stay

• Lost wages from time off work
