My friend, Olivia, is a dedicated teacher and a loving mother to twin daughters, Connie and Ximena. Over the past year, one of her daughters, Ximena, has been suffering from ongoing pain that has deeply affected their family including daily pain and treatments and a hospitalization. Despite trying various treatments, nothing has brought lasting relief, and it has been difficult to watch her daughter struggle day after day.

Recently, doctors determined that a surgery to remove her tonsils is the best option to finally bring her comfort and allow her to return to a normal, happy childhood.
