Help Pay Off Xena’s Surgery & Recovery

Hi, my name is Tamara, some of you know me as Tammy, and I’m raising funds for my incredible dog warrior, Xena, who has faced more challenges in her life than most of us can imagine. Xena is not just a pet—she’s my family, my best friend, and my warrior - my fur child.

In the last few months, Xena has endured two major surgeries to remove cancerous tumors—a mast cell tumor and a sarcoma. While we were thrilled that she’s been cancer free after surgery, recovery was tough, and she fought bravely through every step.

Now, just as she was starting to recover, Xena has torn the ligament in her left leg, making it painful and difficult for her to walk. On top of that, her right leg, which underwent TPLO surgery in 2023, is causing her severe pain because the screws from the surgery are now irritating her joint and need to be removed. Seems it got worse when they removed the mass cell tumor on that leg.

She urgently needs surgery on both legs to relieve her pain and regain her mobility. Without this surgery, her quality of life will drastically decline, and I can’t bear to see her suffer like this.

Xena’s medical expenses have been overwhelming. Between her cancer surgeries, treatments, and now this unexpected situation, I’ve exhausted my savings and the generous support I received for her previous surgeries.

The estimated cost for her double leg surgeries, post-operative care, and rehabilitation is $6,000. I want to give Xena every chance to heal and live the happy, pain-free life she deserves.

Xena is a 11 year-old with the biggest heart. Even after everything she’s been through, she remains the sweet, gentle, and loving soul that everyone falls in love with. Her resilience inspires me every day, and I know she’s not ready to give up - neither am I.
