Hi, my name is Eric, and my French Bulldog, Xena, was the victim of a speeding hit and run near 81st and Komensky Ave on November 4th, 2025, around 3:30 PM.

The driver didn’t stop — they just kept going — leaving her badly injured on the side of the road while my sister screamed in disbelief. Based on nearby video footage, the driver slowed down, looked in the rearview mirror, and still decided to drive off. It appears to be a female driver, but we’re still gathering more footage to confirm and hopefully get a license plate number for the police report.

By some miracle, Xena survived, but she’s now facing a broken pelvis and tremendous pain. Watching her struggle to move and cry out has been absolutely heartbreaking. She’s such a loving, goofy little Frenchie who brings joy to everyone she meets — she didn’t deserve this.

The vet bills have already piled up between the emergency visit, x-rays, and hospitalization, and the total cost is expected to reach about $3,000. I’m doing everything I can to cover it, but I could really use some help.
