The Smith Family is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our beloved Xela, who was suddenly diagnosed with Leukemia, a blood cancer, this past week.

A little bit about Xela Smith:

Xela is one of five children in her family and is known and loved by everyone she meets because of the joy she brings into our lives. If you are lucky enough to know Xela, you know she is the most caring, kind, loyal, and beautiful young woman, inside and out. After graduating high school this year, Xela was admitted to Brigham Young University Hawaii and began plans to serve an 18-month service mission.

Many people have reached out wanting to know how to help, so we created this web-page as a way to show your love and support for Xela, her parents Katherine and Derek Smith, and the Smith Family on this journey.

Xela’s family will incur substantial medical, logistical, and unforeseen costs as they travel from Idaho Falls to Salt Lake City for her cancer treatments. Any amount will help, but if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this post that can make a difference.
