Help Us Bring Ballet Barres to Xcape Dance Academy!

Hello friends, family, and supporters of the arts!

Xcape Dance Academy, a creative space in Eugene, Oregon where dancers of all ages are empowered to express themselves, grow in confidence, and pursue excellence in dance, is in need of some equipment to expand our programs!

As our programs continue to grow, we’re working hard to expand our offerings and provide our students with the proper tools and equipment to support their training. One of the essential pieces we’re currently missing?

Ballet barres.

While we specialize in hip-hop, jazz funk, tal, contemporary, jazz, and performance-based movement, foundational training—like ballet—is a powerful tool that helps dancers with balance, strength, alignment, and control. Adding ballet barres will allow us to:

• Introduce a new ballet/technique program

• Strengthen our competitive and pre-professional training

• Offer proper warm-up support and cross-training for all styles

• Create an even safer and more effective learning environment

Our Goal: $2,000

This will help us purchase and multiple portable ballet barres for our studio spaces, and we will be able to offer a full schedule of ballet classes starting summer session!
