My name is Xavier, and I’m a college student and wrestler at Mount Union. I’ve worked hard to earn my spot as the starter at 125, and I was proud to represent my school on the mat. Alongside wrestling, I held a job to help pay for my education, determined to make my dream of a college degree a reality.

Unfortunately, I suffered an injury that not only took me out of wrestling for a while but also meant I couldn’t work anymore. Without my job, I lost my main source of income and now I’m struggling to pay my tuition. I’m facing the possibility of having to leave school and return to the neighborhood I worked so hard to escape.
