My name is Xavier Biggs, and I’ve been chosen to participate in the Strive Basketball USA Tour 2026.
I come from a small farming community in Gnarwarre, Victoria, and this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow me to develop my basketball skills, experience new cultures, and extend my world view. Playing basketball at this level will not only grow me as a player but also as a person, teaching independence, resilience, and leadership.
I’m passionate about basketball and committed to giving back to my community. I’ve worked hard as both a player and referee with Geelong United Basketball, where I mentor younger referees and support my team on and off the court
This tour offers the opportunity to train with elite coaches and immerse myself fully in the basketball culture at the highest standards, playing against top team and being exposed to top tier college scouts. It will give me the confidence and exposure to return home, bringing the skills back to my local community. My mum, Prue Blackney, has supported me every step of the way, driving me all over the place at sometimes challenging times. To make this dream possible, we need to raise approximately $5, 000 to cover travel, accommodation, and insurance fees.
Your contribution – big or small – will make a huge difference. Every donation brings me closer to stepping on the court in the USA, representing our community.
How You Can Help:
• Donate directly here on GoFundMe.
• Share this campaign with your networks.
Thank you for believing in me and helping make this dream a reality.
With gratitude,
Xavier Biggs
