Help Xavier & family due to a medical financial hardship

Hello,
My son Xavier was involved in a moped accident on May 3, 2025. He was hit by a truck while crossing an intersection, unfortunately he was not wearing a helmet as our state does not require it and he misunderstood the value of wearing one anyway. He sustained injuries that according to the officer who was called to the scene and all medical professionals was considered serious/possibly fatal. However, Xavier survived by a miracle after a month in ICU/Rehab. Although he survived and is my miracle boy, he is still in heavy outpatient therapy and is having vision problems. I had to take a month and a half off of work with no fmla or pto available during his surgeries and rehab initially and since then I have been low on work hours due to his follow up appointments and outpatient treatments and rehab therapy. This has caused a large deduction in my income and ability to pay our basic needs. I am behind now on my vehicle payment by 2 months and our electric bill by 2 months as our rent has become priority and where my full paychecks have gone since the accident. I currently have a collection notice already on my only vehicle that I have to have to continue to get to work since our city bus line doesn't go to my job area and I don't have enough left over after rent to pay an Uber/Lyft. I applied for state assistance and was told that I make too much money to qualify for ebt/snap or other financial benefits except Medicaid and childcare which I am grateful for but any extra paycheck is going to food for Xavier and his brother. I have applied for short term disability for now for my son, but that will be a few months process I am told. I am desperate and looking for another job to supplement, but with the appointments and as far behind I already am, I am losing hope. I had to start this fundraiser to hopefully receive help with these bills that I have to pay and have got behind on. I really would be forever grateful and when we are able to go back to normal life, I will most definitely do my best to help those in need that I encounter as a thank you for the help we received during a difficult time.
